We are currently recruiting for an Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) Technician within the Oxford area. This is an exciting hands-on opportunity where you will assist in keeping the Bicester and Witney sites running.The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can immerse themselves into the team around them, as well as being disciplined and have the desire to learn from those around them and have a can-do attitude. This role can be demanding at times but very rewarding too.On a day-to-day basis, you will receive your planned workload and will also be responding to emergency alarms. You will be working as part of a team but may also be alone which highlights the importance of our high H+S standards. You will have your van and tools supplied which you will keep maintained to a high standard.A Van, PPE and Tools will be provided.What you’ll be doing as an ICA TechnicianThe ICA role consists of the following but is not limited to, these main points:
1. Carrying out planned maintenance (PPM) which includes some mandatory tickets and some reactive maintenance on defective equipment.
2. Working in a multi-disciplinary team, alongside a range of operational teams such as systems, mechanical, and electrical technicians.
