We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the team, who should be a registered nurse with a proven track record in managing nursing homes.
Position Overview:
As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of the care homes within your jurisdiction. The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining high-quality care standards, and driving operational excellence. This position is based at our clients head office, with regular travel to their care homes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of nursing homes within your jurisdiction, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
2. Lead, mentor, and support nursing home managers to achieve operational goals and maintain quality care standards.
3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of care delivery.
4. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to improve operational outcomes.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure resident-centered care.
6. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among staff.
7. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure financial sustainability.
8. Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Registered Nurse with valid registration and previous registration history.
2. Proven experience in managing a nursing home or similar care facility.
3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and families.
5. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
6. Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle for travel to care homes.
