Responsibilities
1. Represents Quality Engineering through product lifecycle management to help ensure product manufacturability, reliability and cost effectiveness.
2. Support activities related to the QMS including CAPA, NCRs, MRB, deviations etc
3. Performs external (supplier) audits.
4. Attends regular communication with cross-functional teams to identify root cause of problems and create plans for short term and long-term remediation
5. Represents supplier quality for new product development activities, supports supplier performance assessment process and prioritises actions to address adverse trends.
6. Identify new, or changes to existing, processes and systems to improve effectivity and efficiency of the Quality system in accordance with the requirements of: ISO 9001; ISO 13485; 21 CFR part 820.
Qualifications
Education:
A qualification in an Engineering / Science subject or relevant experience in an Engineering / Science related function.
Experience:
7. Proven knowledge of ISO 9001, experience in ISO 13485 and 21 CFR part 820 desired
8. Demonstrated practical approach towards problem solving.
9. Good understanding of supplier quality.
10. Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
Competencies:
11. Good written and oral communication skills are required, for example to ensure succinct report generation,
effective communication with staff, peer groups, etc across organisation.
12. Must be able to work independently and communicate with all levels of the organisation.
13. Computer literate - knowledge of Word, Powerpoint and Excel an advantage - in order to produce reports,
analyse data etc effectively.
Travel:
Travel may be required to support Supplier visits and audits.
