DEPARTMENT: Public Prosecution Service for Northern Ireland (PPS)
SALARY: £104,605 - £116,930 rising to £113,060 - £123,946 (from 1st August 2025)
LOCATION: The Public Prosecution Service has regional offices in Belfast, Londonderry and Newry as well as a satellite office in Omagh. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be based in Belfast.
The Public Prosecution Service sits at the heart of the criminal justice system and we are looking for a Senior Assistant Director to lead an exciting programme of transformation.
This role is pivotal in driving forward transformational change designed to improve outcomes, speed up the administration of justice and modernise service delivery. An ability to lead diverse teams, deliver at pace and engage effectively with external stakeholders are the key qualities for the ideal candidate to take on this dynamic and rewarding role.
A merit list will be compiled which will be used if this post arises within the PPS within the lifetime of the competition, which is one year.
