Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities:
Arrange, co-ordinate, support and attend departmental and project meetings.
Contribute and participate in the design, planning, implementation, monitoring and management of projects under the direction and guidance of the clinical audit lead/clinical audit manager.
Be willing to visit all services across the trust to support the audit team in collecting data on clinical audit projects prioritised in the Annual Audit Programme.
Provide guidance, advice and audit support to clinicians undertaking clinical audit projects, as agreed with the clinical audit lead/clinical audit manager.
Prepare audit data to produce reports collected as above and draft interim reports for approval by clinical audit lead/clinical audit manager.
Promote and support the use of AMaT to record clinical audit and ward, area and service audit activity.
Monitor the requirement for and completion of Action Plans to ensure actions are robustly monitored.
Maintain databases relating to clinical audit activity and tracking of associated action plans.
Contribute to the promotion and dissemination of clinical audit activities.
Ensure confidentiality of information through robust design, management and reporting of clinical information.
Undertake any other duties as required, delegated appropriately and commensurate with the grade and responsibility of the post.

* Good general education, educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
* A willingness to undertake further training as required for the role.
Desirable Criteria:
* Knowledge of a full range of business and administration procedures acquired through NVQ level 3 or proven practical experience.
* ECDL or equivalent.
* Evidence of personal development.
Skills:
Essential Criteria:
* Microsoft Office (i.e., Database, Excel, Word) and a willingness to undertake further training as required for the role.
* Word Processing skills and good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Understanding of confidentiality and Data Protection Act.

* Ability to compile and present accurate reports and minutes.
