About the Role
As a Systems Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting research and new product development. You will lead systems engineering practices, including requirements management, system architecture development, and integration and testing. This role also includes mentoring global systems engineering teams and contributing directly to the product team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead requirements management, system architecture development, and system integration/testing for aerospace applications.
2. Provide technical oversight and guidance to systems engineering teams, including global collaboration.
3. Support the development of thermal, fluid, and dynamic mechanical systems for aerospace refuelling and actuation systems.
4. Apply tailored systems engineering practices to align with program scope and objectives.
5. Contribute to technical work products while collaborating with cross-functional product teams.
6. Drive innovation and integrate systems engineering methodologies to optimize product outcomes.
Qualifications/ Systems Knowledge:
1. Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering.
3. At least 3 years of experience with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) using SysML.
4. A minimum of 3 years managing teams delivering systems engineering outputs.
5. Proven ability to balance systems engineering discipline within cross-functional teams.
6. Master's degree in Systems Engineering.
7. 5 years of experience using CAMEO and 5-10 years with DOORS.
8. Experience managing engineering teams and supporting product life cycles.
9. Participation in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
10. Demonstrated experience integrating systems engineering practices into complex projects.
