Innovative electrolysis and fuel cell company looking for a senior electrical design engineer to contribute to the electrical and power electronic design of their products. Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of fuel cell and electrolyser stack designs. Design electrical networks for grid-connected systems (both AC and DC). Produce electrical architecture drawings, high-level wiring schematics, and supporting documentation. Manage electrical design materials and documentations to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Manage, review, and approve the design and delivery of work by electrical contractors/installers. Provide technical advice and ensure electrical designs meet national and international standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NFPA). Mitigate project risks and ensure appropriate risk assessments are conducted. Support electrical aspects of system installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning. Skills required: Qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Practical and theoretical knowledge of electrical systems, including MW-scale power generation and AC/DC distribution. Experience with grid connections and knowledge of relevant regulations and standards. Hands-on experience with system design, including cable sizing, protection device selection, and interfacing with control systems (e.g., PLCs, microcontrollers). Proficient in power system modeling tools such as ETAP, EPLAN, MATLAB, and others. Strong organizational, time management, communication, and report-writing skills.
