Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Engineer to join our team at Energizer Holdings, Inc.

As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of all facilities and plant equipment within our hearing aid battery manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance on plant equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical. Diagnose and repair equipment failures to minimize downtime.
* Facility Management: Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Manage building systems, including security, fire alarms, and emergency preparedness.
* Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
* Project Management: Plan and oversee facility improvement projects, including upgrades and expansions.
* Energy Management: Monitor and manage the facility's energy consumption. Implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
Requirements:
* An apprentice, time served or graduate Engineer to at least HNC level in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficient in maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g. OSHA, HSE).
* Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
