Role: Carpentry and Joinery assessor Location: Merseyside Rate: £35 - £45 Type: On-going temporary Eden Brown are seeking a skilled Carpentry and Joinery Assessor on behalf of a leading further education college in Merseyside. This is a temporary, full-time, ongoing position. Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and evaluate carpentry and joinery students in line with industry standards.
* Provide constructive feedback and ensure learners are meeting the required competency levels.
* Support learners with practical assessments, ensuring safety and best practices at all times.
* Maintain accurate records of learner progress and assessments.
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant carpentry and joinery qualifications to level 3
* Previous experience in carpentry and joinery work, with an in-depth understanding of techniques and safety regulations.
* Recognised assessors qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, D23/D33
* Previous experience in assessing or training apprentices or learners
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate learners, helping them succeed in their qualifications.
