Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Welwyn Hatfield, United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly individuals within our community, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
1. Assist elderly clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
2. Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met
3. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions
4. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
5. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
7. Document and report any changes in clients' conditions or concerns
8. Accompany clients to medical appointments or social activities when needed
9. Respond promptly to emergencies and provide basic first aid when necessary
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Benefits Include:
11. Hourly rates £12.00 - £13.00 per hour (averaging with benefits £14.00+ per hour)
12. Paid travel time between clients (some restrictions apply)
13. Travel expenses £0.30/per mile - £0.45/per mile
14. Paid when training at standard rate including workshops + e-learning
15. Minimum 1-hour visits

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
18. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and alternate weekends
19. Valid UK driver's license and access to reliable car
20. Live within our franchise boundaries
21. Have the Right to Work in the UK - currently not licenced to offer sponsorship
Additional Information
We are also interested in Live-In care professionals and as a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support and high rates of pay.
