We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for Ophthalmology to join a dynamic, certificate-led referral team at a 24/7 RCVS accredited Hospital in Leicester. This unique role offers the perfect blend of consulting and surgery within a well-established ophthalmology team, supported by cutting-edge facilities and a large, loyal client base.
At the heart of the practice is a commitment to clinical excellence, patient care, and fostering a supportive environment. As a GOLD Cat Friendly accredited practice, they take pride in delivering top-tier care while also working towards achieving the Investors in the Environment Silver award, having already secured Bronze in 2022. Additionally, they prioritise the mental health and wellbeing of staff, with a dedicated team of Mental Health First Aiders always available for support.
Their ophthalmology service offers a broad scope of surgeries, including complex procedures such as cataract surgery. Whether you're a confident GP Vet eager to develop your Ophthalmology skills in a 50/50 split role or an experienced Ophthalmologist working towards or holding a certificate, you will find a welcoming environment here. The Rota
- Full-time position (38 hours over 4/5 days per week)
- 1:3 weekends on-call
