We are seeking an experienced Digital Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team at Murphy, a sector-leading employer with a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating digital engineering practices on multiple projects within a business unit or sector. This role involves supervising and taking responsibility for the coordination, production, checking, and approval of information/models between lead appointed parties.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus benefits including 27 days' holiday, discretionary annual bonus, above-market rate contributory pension scheme, life assurance, health screening, and enhanced sick pay.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the single point of contact for Digital Engineering on multiple projects within a business unit/sector
* Supervise and take responsibility for the co-ordination, production, checking, and approval of information/models between lead appointed parties
* Mobilise and onboard project teams onto digital systems and solutions
* Support group best practice, test, prove, and support the implementation of well-governed initiatives within the project with respect to authoring, collaboration, validation, and field technology/workflow
* Establishing a Project BIM Execution Plan and review regularly with support from the Murphy digital team and project teams
* Technical review of consultant and supplier's proposals against the required project standards
* Conduct regular inspections/audits to ensure compliance and promote timely understanding
* Conduct Digital Health Checks on projects, reporting monthly to project team, escalate issues appropriately
* Conduct or support suppliers with clash detection on the projects and produce reports for issue resolution, reporting monthly to project team, escalate issues appropriately
* Review Digital Health Check statistics within the areas of the project to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A working knowledge of BS EN ISO 19650 BIM workflows
* Experience of data management software
* Knowledge of GIS packages such as QGIS and Esri
* Working knowledge of data analytics and FME
* Previous experience with an infrastructure background covering rail, water, and power
* Ability to create automated workflows and data extraction using Python, SQL, and Javascript
