Role Overview:
As a Technical Director, you will lead and mentor the Civil Engineering team, spearheading both ongoing projects and new client engagements. Your role will involve driving high-level analysis and complex designs, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You'll also play a key role in the organic growth of the team, providing essential support and training to staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Civil Engineering team, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, efficient designs across a range of projects.
Mentor junior team members, offering guidance and fostering their professional development.
Drive high-level analysis and design, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Collaborate with 12 other UK-based design offices, contributing to a culture of innovation, knowledge-sharing, and excellence.
Engage with new clients and support the growth of the team.Candidate Profile:
We are looking for an individual who may currently be in an Associate role within a UK-based consultancy or already working as a Technical Director. Ideal candidates will possess several of the following:
Chartered status.
Strong technical proficiency and excellent report writing skills.
Proven experience in leading teams, mentoring staff, and managing projects.
Expertise in highway design to UK standards, such as DMRB.
Experience in drainage design, including residential, SUDS, and flood alleviation projects.
Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD.Benefits:
