Open Door and Student Wellbeing Open Door is a team of Mental Health Practitioners and Student Wellbeing Officers providing free support to registered students experiencing psychological or mental health difficulties. Role We are recruiting a Student Wellbeing Officer on a full time basis, to provide a comprehensive advice and support service to students across the University to ensure our students receive a holistic approach to their support. The Student Wellbeing Officers work to develop an inclusive model of wellbeing across academic departments that encompasses student support, safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing. The successful candidates will join a team of Student Wellbeing Officers who are embedded in academic departments. Skills, Experience & Qualification needed A general education to include three passes at A level, or an equivalent educational qualification, or relevant experience Qualification in, or a willingness to train, in Mental Health First Aid and ASIST A thorough understanding of the principles of service provision within a large, complex organisation, preferably in a Higher Education environment.
