Job overview
You will be required to operationally manage allocated front of house reception teams. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Outpatient Nursing Team and administration resources and structures to deliver optimum patient flows in the main outpatient area, making recommendations to the Assistant Service Manager on workforce allocation and skill mix. You will train, support and performance manage allocated staff to ensure Trust Cerner Outpatient operational processes are embedded in staff practice. You will manage the interface between the front house, outpatient appointment centre and service leads to ensure a highly efficient and effective outpatient service for patients. Ensure that the Trust delivers excellent outpatient care by supporting the implementation of a rolling customer care training programme for all reception staff and performance management against these standards and maintenance of clean and presentable outpatient waiting and clinical areas in main outpatients.
