This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.
This is an opportunity to undertake the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing course School Nursing full time over an academic year. This post is fully funded by HEIW with the academic study provided by Glyndwr University and the practical placements provided by BCUHB East area, Wrexham and Flintshire. On successful completion of the course, you will be able to register on part 3 of the NMC register.

Main duties of the job
You will be supernumerary for the duration of the course and allocated a qualified School Nurse practice supervisor and practice assessor. You will learn all aspects of the (School Nurse) role whilst undertaking your practical experience within a School Nursing team in East BCU. You will build up your experience and confidence in practice whilst learning the theoretical aspects of the public health course.
