Senior Care Assistant

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning and implementing personalized care plans that provide residents a sense of security, dignity, and independence.
2. Leading a team of Care Assistants and maintaining the highest standards of care.
3. Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
4. Administering medication and maintaining accurate records of care provided.
5. Building strong relationships with residents and their families.
6. Recognizing signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and knowing how to report concerns.
Minimum qualifications include:
1. Completed Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care, with a willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
2. Experience in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
3. Strong record-keeping skills and effective time management.
4. A positive attitude and ability to communicate kindly and considerately.
