About the Role

This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, making it flexible for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Teaching and Learning: Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) to students across various secondary schools.
* Curriculum Development: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students, ensuring all students are able to reach their full potential.
* Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set achievable targets for improvement.
* Pastoral Care: Contribute to the pastoral care of students, providing guidance and support to help them succeed both academically and personally.
* Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the department and school staff to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
* Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities provided by the schools and Teaching Personnel to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
Requirements
* Qualifications: A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): QTS is an essential requirement for this role.
* Subject Knowledge: Ability to teach Science at the secondary school level, with a specialisation in either Biology, Chemistry, or Physics being highly desirable.
* Teaching Experience: Experience teaching in secondary schools is preferred, but we also welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
* Passion for Education: A genuine passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to inspiring students and improving outcomes.
* Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Flexibility: Willingness to teach full-time or part-time, depending on the needs of the schools and the candidate's availability.
