As a Cover Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to deliver pre-prepared lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher. You will maintain a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure that the learning objectives are met. Additionally, you may be required to adapt lesson plans as needed and provide feedback to the regular teacher.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A recognised teaching qualification
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to effectively manage a classroom
4. Strong organisational skills
5. A degree in Education or related field
6. Experience working in a classroom setting
7. Knowledge of the national curriculum
8. Ability to work independently and follow lesson plans
9. Additional teaching certifications
10. Experience with different teaching methods and strategies
11. Experience working with diverse student populations
You will be working in a school environment, following the school's timetable and policies. The role may involve working with students of various ages and abilities. The position is full-time on a contract basis, with the expectation of working regular school hours.
