As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Your key responsibilities will include
Goods In:
* Assist with receiving, checking, and recording incoming stock deliveries.
Order Picking and Packing:
* Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
Use of Light Machinery:
* Safely and accurately cut material to customer requirements.
Stock Control:
* Help with stock checks, ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained.
Storage and Organisation:
* Organise stock in the warehouse, ensuring goods are stored safely and accessibly.
Health and Safety:
* Follow health and safety procedures, keeping the warehouse clean and hazard-free.
Teamwork:
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Systems and Documentation:
* Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to record activities and maintain accurate data.

Your training plan
* In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 2 Supply chain qualification which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures.
* Our training is all complete remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support 24/7 and will arrange weekly/fortnightly meetings with you.
* You receive 20% off the job training during this Apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours
