What the Job Involves Lead and deliver the council’s transformation agenda, aligning with the council’s future operating model and financial savings. Design, develop, and implement change programmes while engaging with service-led transformations. Commission and oversee suppliers supporting complex change and transformation initiatives. Manage resources, teams, budgets, timelines, and communicate updates to stakeholders, including public committees. Ensure effective programme governance and benefits realisation, fostering 'whole council' understanding. Develop cross-council transformational strategies, aligned with strategic goals, covering key areas: customer and digital, children's services, commercial, and culture change. Oversee the implementation of change management initiatives and stakeholder engagement. Facilitate data analysis, benchmarking, and customer feedback to support evidence-based recommendations. Monitor transformation projects, establishing metrics, KPIs, and identifying potential risks. Promote continuous improvement and collaborate closely with HR and OD teams to enhance organisational competencies. Provide leadership and guidance, fostering collaboration and serving as a role model for change leadership. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days of office work weekly.
