Salary: Circa £35,500 per annum
Location: Paisley, Renfrewshire
Contract/Hours: Permanent, full time (working 37 hours a week)

About the service
This Scottish Government funded programme will deliver inclusive voluntary throughcare services across Scotland for men, women and young people serving a short-term sentence or following a period on remand. A collaborative and relationship-based partnership model underpins delivery to support to achieve positive outcomes for people and wider communities. Improving reintegration and wellbeing ultimately improves lives and reduces re-offending. We are recruiting for a values-driven Service Coordinator to help lead this important work.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
* Supporting the start up and ongoing development of this new service
* Directly line-managing Action for Children staff in various locations across Scotland
* Lead a multi-agency pod of staff who will work with men, women and young people across the North Strathclyde area
* Being responsible for referrals and allocations into the service
* Linking in with local community justice organisations
* Supporting, inspiring and nurturing staff to deliver high quality services
* Ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled
Let's talk about you
Are you resilient and have a positive approach to change and challenge? We are looking for someone with a 'can do' attitude to join our team. Ideally you will have:
* An understanding of the justice sector
* HNC / SVQ III / Degree in Social Work / Social Care or other relevant field
* Experience of managing a team
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with others at all levels
* This role requires flexibility and a commitment to working out with normal business hours to meet the needs of the service which can include evenings and weekends.
