Job Description
Based at one of our two manufacturing sites, Standfast & Barracks. This role involves managing production techniques, driving innovation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while optimising operational performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Technical Leadership:
1. Oversee and manage fabric manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality output.
2. Develop and implement best practices for production, quality control, and efficiency improvement.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and improve production outcomes.
4. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
2. Process Optimization & Quality Control:
1. Monitor and enhance fabric production techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
2. Implement quality control measures to minimize defects and waste.
3. Work closely with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure the best raw materials are sourced.
4. Utilize data-driven analysis to improve manufacturing performance and reduce downtime.
3. Innovation & Sustainability:
1. Research and introduce new technologies and materials to enhance fabric performance and sustainability.
2. Drive sustainability initiatives within the manufacturing process, reducing environmental impact.
3. Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new fabric types and improve existing products.
4. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices.

QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Proven experience in technical leadership, innovation management, and sustainability.
Proven track record in driving technical excellence, innovation, and sustainable business practices.
Strong knowledge of industry regulations, environmental policies, and emerging technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
