Our Health in Justice service line is now expanding into Non-Custodial healthcare, a person-centred approach delivered via a solid and consolidated infrastructure aimed to assess individuals' mental health and neurodiversity requirements, to redirect them to the most appropriate channel. We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join our team in North Yorkshire.
This is a unique opportunity for a registered nurse to lead a multidisciplinary team in a challenging yet rewarding environment. This role offers you the chance to expand on your clinical oversight experience and deliver the best experience to our service users.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, some flexibility within the hours 8am to 5pm
Salary
This position is full time and you will receive a salary of £49,848 to £55,996 depending on experience
Location
This role is based at Fulford Road Police Station in York with some travel to other sites within the region

What you'll be doing
As our Clinical Lead your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
* Coaching, line managing and developing staff from a clinical and non-clinical background
* Supporting and contributing to the service audits and governance
* Chairing and facilitating a number of healthcare meetings with the team and different partners
* Providing clinical supervision and investigations locally and for the wider region.
* Delivering workshops to develop the team's learning in various areas such as clinical processes, documentation, patient care and joint Healthcare & stakeholder processes
* Working in partnership with the Head of Service to identify and mitigate clinical risk (risk register, incident reporting, quality assurance, service audits)

Qualifications, experience and skills required:
* Registered Nurse (Adult / MH / LD) with current NMC PIN
* Experience in management/leadership within a healthcare setting
* Experience of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* Existing line management experience and student nurse mentorship
* Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, EBP and national standards
