Goods In Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance or VNA License Required)
Job Summary:
The Goods In Warehouse Operative will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming goods while ensuring accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Counterbalance or Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift license and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality in warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.
* Accurately record and enter goods into the inventory management system.
* Operate counterbalance or VNA forklifts to move goods within the warehouse safely.
* Organize and maintain storage areas to ensure efficient inventory management and accessibility.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory audits as required.
* Work closely with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of goods.
* Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support the overall operations.
Qualifications:
* Valid Counterbalance or VNA forklift license is ideal.
* Previous experience in a warehousing or goods in role is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
* Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Physical ability to handle moderate to heavy lifting as required.
