Are you passionate about making a difference in a young person s life? We are seeking a dedicated Outreach PDA Support Assistant to support a 10-year-old student with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
This role is based in the pupil s home and offers a unique opportunity to provide one-on-one, tailored educational support in a nurturing environment. There will also be a dedicated carer that you will be working alongside so you would not be on your own., + Support the student in learning through play-based activities.
+ Foster engagement in areas of interest, such as gaming, cooking, and Maths.
+ Create a positive, flexible, and low demand learning atmosphere.
+ Build a strong and trusting relationship to encourage the student's development.
+ Patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
+ Experience with PDA or additional needs (preferred but not essential).
+ Passionate about working with children and supporting their unique learning journeys.
+ Open to training and eager to develop relevant skills.
