Service Improvement and Performance Officer
We are looking to recruit a Service Improvement and Performance Officer to join the Local Environmental Services Team.
Under the general direction of the Waste Manager, the post holder will be expected to support the Works Leaders and improve the Waste and Street Scene service by:
* delivering service improvements across waste collection and street cleaning services
* improving the service-customer relationship
* managing the Assisted Waste Collections, AHP collections and commercial waste services
* delivering the front-line waste collection service during periods of absence by the waste Works Leaders
We are looking to recruit an individual who has:
* good knowledge of the local area
* the ability to assist in delivering improvements to one of the Council’s key services
* the ability to plan and prioritize effectively
* the ability to lead by example in motivating others, through effective communication, as well as having problem-solving skills
* the ability to work under pressure and deal with conflict and issues of a complex and contentious nature
* an interest in the environment and a willingness to promote the Caru Ceredigion ethos
The post requires a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. Please note that a successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the required standard within two years of appointment.
