HR Advisor sought to join an award-winning, £multimillion turnover food manufacturing company based in Bilston. They are a privately owned company who supply numerous sectors including foodservice, retail, wholesale and catering, both in the UK and abroad.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s People function, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices, and administrative tasks to enhance organisational efficiency.
As HR Advisor, your day-to-day duties will include:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all people-related matters, engaging in various aspects of the employee life cycle.
2. Advise, coach and support line managers on performance management, employee relations, HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
3. Effectively support and manage employee relations cases.
4. Guide managers in addressing sickness absence cases.
5. Implement initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.
6. Collect and analyse employee data to inform decision-making.
7. Ensure compliance with Home Office sponsorship requirements and right-to-work checks.
8. Manage and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
9. Conduct employee onboarding and orientation sessions to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
10. Manage HR administration tasks.
11. Support the implementation of HR initiatives that align with our organisational goals.
12. Champion and promote company’s organisational values.
The successful HR Advisor will demonstrate:
1. Proven experience in a similar role.
2. CIPD qualified to a minimum of Level 3.
3. Proficient in Office 365.
4. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work autonomously.
8. Self-motivated, confident, and approachable with a 'can-do' flexible attitude towards work requirements.
