We are a group of colleges in the Tees Valley; Stockton Riverside College, Redcar and Cleveland College, Bede Sixth Form College, NETA Training and The Skills Academy. Education Training Collective (Etc.) delivers a full range of courses, training and apprenticeship opportunities, as well as professional and commercial courses.
Our aim is to create greater opportunities for all of our students and communities by equipping people with the skills to help them into employment, raise aspirations and meet the economic demands of the region. ‘ONE Etc. – Fuelling ambition and driving success in a resurgent Teesside and beyond. What You’ll Be Doing:
• Taking ownership of our network infrastructure – ensuring it’s secure, scalable, and up to the challenge of supporting thousands of users.
• Driving innovations that enhance performance and future-proof our systems.
• Managing compliance of the infrastructure in relation to GDPR, cyber security, and governance standards.
• Leading your team to success through mentoring, training, and technical leadership.
• Preparing for growth with strategic planning, detailed documentation, and KPI tracking.
What We’re Looking For: We need a tech leader with:
• Skills that Shine: Advanced knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, HP/Aruba switches, Unifi Access Points, Microsoft 365, Azure, and more.
• Experience That Counts: A proven track record in managing enterprise-level IT systems, troubleshooting complex networks, and delivering top-notch customer support.
• Leadership Flair: A natural leader who can inspire and grow a high-performing team.
