A successful serviced office group based in Chancery Lane is seeking an experienced Receptionist, paying up to £30,000 plus benefits, to join their ambitious team.
The role will be supporting the Building Manager with front of house duties, facilities as well as providing a top-class customer service for the tenants.
Due to nature of the role, this will be fully office based.
Duties include the following:
* Meeting and greeting tenants and visitors to the building
* Carrying out regular building checks and reporting any maintenance or facility issues
* Address tenant queries professionally, ensuring timely responses; escalate urgent issues to the Building Manager when necessary
* Provide essential support to the Building Manager in day-to-day operations, contributing to smooth, efficient building management
* Handle administrative tasks related to the management of the property, including record-keeping.
* Assist with lease documentation, renewals, and references for new tenants.
* Conduct property viewings and assist with move-in and out processes.
* Ensure health & safety and emergency procedures are in place and up to standards.
* Take charge in emergencies in the Building Manager's absence.
* Ensure that the facilities are clean, safe, and functional for tenants and visitors.
* Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance, including repairs.
* Place orders with suppliers and maintain accurate supplier communications.
* Coordinating building security arrangements, including access control systems.
* Updating emergency plans, and evacuation procedures and managing property inductions with new tenants.
* Planning and coordinating essential services such as reception, maintenance, mail, cleaning, waste disposal, and recycling.
* Assist the Building Manager in ensuring compliance with all current statutory legislation concerning health and safety and the environment.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and positive, with a good understanding of excellent customer service. You will have strong team working skills and a willingness to learn and develop within the property management industry. Ideally you will have previous front of house experience in a professional environment. Working with contractors and suppliers would be advantageous for the position.
