About the People Administrator role:
As a People Administrator you are responsible for the proactive management of day-to-day administrative tasks and processes and are the first-line support for any HR queries.
The role has a wide variety of responsibilities and duties that they will be involved in and deliver on. Someone with a flexible and organised approach, a confident, positive and engaging personality who enjoys variety and delivers high standards with attention to detail would be an ideal fit for this role.
As our People Administrator at National Museums Scotland you will:
Prepare and issue all administration from the People department, including employment contracts and other contractual documentation, minutes from meetings, letters etc
Manage shared inboxes, prioritising and responding to standard queries from internal and external stakeholders, escalating where appropriate
Management of recruitment administration and onboarding ensuring that deadlines are met and information is correct and actioned
Be responsible for checking the accuracy of all HR data and highlighting problem areas
Support the provision of accurate data reports
Skills and experience we’re looking for in our People Administrator:
Experience in a role involving a range of administrative tasks
Experience of recruitment processes from an administrative function
Excellent ICT skills in MS Office, Excel, MS Teams, Outlook, and databases
Knowledge and understanding of database administration and digital administration systems/software.
