Description Commissioning Officer | 7807 | fixed term permanent contract until 30 November 2026 | 18.5 hours per week | £30,559 to £32,654 per annum pro rata | Grade G | Norwich An exciting opportunity is available to join our innovative performance management team within the Integrated Commissioning function of Children’s Services. The Performance Team works closely with commissioners to ensure our wide range of external contracted providers are delivering high quality services which improve outcomes for Norfolk’s children and young people and help deliver our shared ambition – that Norfolk is a place where all children and young people can Flourish. In this role, you will mainly support the quality assurance functions of the team, including enabling the Contract Monitoring quality reviews of commissioned residential accommodation, supporting the review of statutory and regulatory provider reporting and the formal provider concerns process. The duties carried out by the Commissioning Officer will be flexible to meet the needs of the service and could work across all aspects of the team during busy times. We require the role to cover ideally Mondays and Fridays, but at least one of those days. For this role we are looking for people who can balance strong process, research, analysis, reporting and project management skills with the ability to build effective, collaborative relationships with a wide range of colleagues and partners including external providers and stakeholders. You will have a real commitment to ensuring children and young people receive the best possible support to ensure they can Flourish and the patience and tenacity to follow and help develop and improve processes. You will be required to travel as part of your duties.
