Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Café Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our team, and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for food service.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
* Daily food preparation and quality control
* Cooking meals to order, from fresh
* Manage inventory and conduct regular stock taking
* Place and track orders with suppliers
* Create and maintain staff rotas
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Team Leadership
* Lead, train, and supervise café staff
* Conduct staff training on service standards and procedures
* Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
* Foster a positive work environment
Customer Service
* Ensure high standards of customer service
* Handle customer inquiries and feedback
* Maintain positive relationships with regular customers
* Address and resolve any customer concerns promptly
Facility Management
* Oversee cleaning schedules and maintain cleanliness standards
* Ensure equipment is properly maintained
* Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
Required Qualifications
* Previous café or restaurant management experience
* Food safety certification
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities
* Customer service orientation
