About the Role
We seek a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, with expertise in electrical sustainable power systems who will contribute to our ambitious plans to continue to grow the Department of Engineering at Nottingham Trent University.
The Department is characterised by an innovative approach to education in partnership with industry, emphasising innovation and project delivery on a foundation of core engineering expertise. We are looking for someone with a proven ability applying engineering knowledge to innovate. You will be an inspiring educator, who aims to develop project-based teaching in the context of real-world applications and thrives in a collegiate Department. The department has been recognised as a member of CDIO.
You will have a PhD in a relevant Engineering discipline and an emerging record in research. Preferred areas of research application include one or more of Sustainable Power Generation, Transmission and Storage, and Battery Technologies. The successful candidate will be able to teach a module in sustainable energy management and power electronics. We also welcome applicants with industrial experience.
