The Emerging Talent Trainer will support the recruitment and training of new apprentices across Culina Group businesses.
This role involves working across a nationwide network with significant travel across the UK.
Key Duties
1. Maintain and develop Apprenticeship systems, policies, and procedures within Culina Group to support improvement plans and compliance with regulations regarding Levy Funding.
2. Liaise with Depots across the business to raise awareness of Apprenticeship opportunities available to all colleagues, including arranging and attending ‘Engagement Days’ for detailed discussions.
3. Identify Apprenticeship needs from colleagues and stakeholders and suggest appropriate Apprenticeship Standards during Engagement Days.
4. Support the Group Emerging Talent Manager in managing KPIs, systems, and processes, and report on quality performance issues and trends.
5. Manage Emerging Talent initiatives, including designing and attending assessment centres, recruitment events, and public engagement activities, along with associated admin tasks.
6. Collaborate with the Business, Emerging Team members, and Training providers to deliver Apprenticeship Standards effectively.
7. Manage and maintain relationships with Training Providers supplying apprenticeship services.
8. Attend Apprenticeship shows such as NAS/NCSL to promote the Group and its opportunities.
9. Keep accurate records of all Emerging Talent initiatives and training activities.
10. Engage with the public to enhance the business profile and expand the network.
11. Work with industry professionals and associations to provide advice and support.
12. Build relationships with underrepresented groups, charities, and social enterprises to explore hidden talent pools.
13. Create and manage emerging talent campaigns for mutual stakeholder benefit.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Strong verbal reasoning and communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Excellent written and spoken communication for delivering accurate information.
* High attention to detail, including data analysis.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholder projects within deadlines.
* Experience in transport and warehouse environments is desirable.
* Flexible and resilient approach adaptable to changing environments.
* Knowledge of work-based learning programmes, including Apprenticeships and the Digital Account System.
* Effective management and communication skills at all levels.
* Willingness to travel and hold a full UK driving license.
