DevOps Lead - Cloud Managed Services
This role requires Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain NV1 Australian Security Clearance, or already possess NV1 Clearance.

Due to expansion, the Managed Services support team seeks a DevOps Lead who can provide Business as Usual support and work on new enhancements and releases in a solid DevOps style. This is a hybrid role allowing you to work from home and from the office with a talented team of individuals.

About the role :
1. As the technical lead, you will guide your team to tackle complex level 3 support issues, requiring you to address major incidents and solve issues for high-stakes Australian businesses.
2. Ensure your team has everything they need to deliver excellence. Lead resourcing, training, and professional development efforts.
3. Mentor developers of various skills and backgrounds and help them to develop professionally and technically.
4. When everything is going smoothly, lead improvement on our customer solutions. Drive focused automation, CICD, and optimization activities.
5. Become the most powerful DevOps engineer possible. We’ll pay for your certifications and training to help us deliver even better.

* Palo Alto
* Ubuntu
About you :
1. Experience leading a technical team.
2. A passion for DevOps and a driver for following best practices i.e., CI / CD and automation.
3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Experience in incident management (especially major incidents). Support team / ITIL.
5. Experience with configuration management and automation technologies.
6. Experience working with and maintaining infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure or another cloud platform – AWS / GCP.
7. Thorough understanding of administration, patch management, backup, and restore processes.
8. Prior experience with Azure DevOps, Azure AD, and GitHub or similar code repositories and automated build and release pipelines.
9. Experience in debugging and troubleshooting issues which span multiple integration components and technology stacks.
10. Experience with operational tools around logging, monitoring, and event management.
11. Microsoft Azure & ITIL certifications are highly regarded but not essential; we will support you in obtaining technical and non-technical certifications to help with your career development.
12. Comfortable working autonomously in a flexible and dynamic managed services environment.
13. Willing to provide on-call support on a roster basis.
