Mobile Maintenance Engineer

£36,000 - £40,000 + Van & Fuel Card
This is an exciting opportunity for a building maintenance engineer (does not have to be fully qualified but being so would be an advantage) to join a business where you will be mainly doing Planned maintenance (PPM) to commercial buildings across London.
Duties:
1. Perform maintenance, servicing, and testing of various electrical and mechanical systems, including checking tap temperature, water flushing, AHUs, air conditioning systems, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and generators.
2. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
3. Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and daily inspections of plant areas, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and organisation at all times.
4. Implement and follow PPM schedules in alignment with departmental objectives.
5. Execute water management control measures as outlined in the Water Risk Assessment, such as flushing and temperature monitoring, while maintaining precise documentation.
6. Address and resolve tasks logged in the company's system, prioritising workload and responding swiftly to emergency and reactive maintenance requests.
7. Deal with building managers/clients on a daily basis.
8. Support and assist in various projects as needed.
Requirements:
1. Experience doing building maintenance within a commercial environment.
2. Happy to work within a busy environment.
3. Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
4. A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
5. Proficient in both verbal and non-verbal communication.
Salary and Benefits:
1. £36,000 - £40,000
