The Home Ownership & Revenues Unit (HORU) are looking to recruit a full time Senior Assistant to help deliver a quality customer focused service to customers and service partners in respect of:
Right to Buy (RTB) – Assisting with the loading of applications in accordance with statutory legislation and timeframes and processing Deed of Covenant forms.
Leasehold Management - Assist in providing overall leasehold management services to dwellings sold under RTB.
District Heating – Assisting HORU officers to manage customer accounts i.e., raising invoices and monitoring customer usage.
Business Management & Revenues providing a range of business management services to all Housing related Team within the Place portfolio. This includes raising invoices for sundry debts in respect of rechargeable repairs and housing related services.
You will need to demonstrate a good knowledge and experience of using Excel, both using existing spreadsheets and creating new ones to interrogate large amounts of data.
The successful candidate should be a customer focussed team player and they must be able to adapt to a variety of different work areas.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
