About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Land Manager to join the Brett Group Estates Team based at our Canterbury office, but working across the Brett Group.
The role is an mainly outdoor role responsible for delivering award winning restoration projects on mineral sites, and BNG opportunities to meet the Brett Group requirements to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience of land management and maintenance and be passionate about having a life long impact on the countryside and environment.
We are offering this role on a part-time basis of 24 hours per week across 3 days.
About Your Role
* To manage the routine, adhoc and annual maintenance of non-operational land held by the Brett Group to a high standard at value for money.
* To advise, assist and monitor the Brett Aggregates Operations Departments with the delivery and management of restoration, BNG and aftercare of mineral sites to a high quality to meet the Groups' planning, BNG, and lease requirement.
* To monitor and prevent trespass of non-operational unoccupied property.
* To manage the routine and annual maintenance of non-operational land held by the Brett Group to a high standard.
We're Looking For
* At least two years experience in management and maintenance of rural sites.
* Proven track record of land maintenance.
* Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets.
* Understanding of the statutory requirements, laws and restrictions regarding working on rural sites.
* Great communicator to promote the Brett Group in the wider society and when dealing with the public.
* Creative and traditional thinker on solving and deliver estate maintenance solutions.
* Clean driving licence.
