The Business Process Specialist is a key role within the Quality and Health and Safety Teams, reporting to the Process Assurance and CI Lead, supporting the delivery of the company's transformation to an infrastructure manager.
What you will do:
1. Support the QA team in developing the Process Mapping framework - including appropriate use of relevant tools and systems.
2. Collaborate with process owners and key stakeholders to facilitate and manage the identification and modelling of business processes and procedures.
3. Facilitate and support workshops involving internal and external stakeholders.
4. Identify the elements of inputs and outputs of existing processes and procedures to develop 'as-is' process state using standard process mapping methodology.
5. Identify improvement opportunities and 'to-be' states identifying efficiencies where possible.
6. Model the actors, tasks and flows that make up the business processes and procedures.
7. Support leadership and operational teams in the implementation of processes, and their assurance and improvement.
What we are looking for:
1. Foundation knowledge of process mapping tools such as MS Visio.
2. Good written and verbal communication skills.
3. Understanding of continuous improvement methodology and tools would be useful but continuous improvement mindset adequate.
4. Ability to interpret complex processes often with the requirement to meet short deadlines.
