Our client, a renowned entity within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Missile Test Architect to join their team. This is a contract role based in Bolton or Stevenage, focused on defining and managing the requirements for Test Equipment and overseeing its development through to delivery and into service. Key Responsibilities: Collating Test Equipment requirements from all customers (Internal, Domestic and Export) across the Product Life Cycle Assessing design documentation to ensure compliance with CE certification requirements Supporting cross-functional teams to reduce test solution product defects Managing status and records of reported test solution defects Interfacing with and managing customer expectations throughout the development process Reporting on test solution packages' time, cost, quality, and performance status Acting as the main point of contact between the project team and Test Equipment supplier Job Requirements: Substantial experience in Test, Electrical, and Electronic engineering Proficiency in Digital Electronics and Microprocessor Systems, Analogue Electronics and RF, Power Electronics, and Test Equipment Design Good understanding of product certification against CE directives Experience in requirements capture using DOORS Knowledge of structured Test Modelling techniques Project management and planning skills Experience in managing diverse and conflicting stakeholder interests Strong leadership skills with the ability to establish a clear engineering vision Ability to influence managers and stakeholders across the company Determination and desire to succeed Strong interpersonal and well-developed communication skills Willingness to travel when required, including to France If you have experience in electronics test and systems engineering within the Defence & Security sector, and you are keen to take on a challenging role as a Missile Test Architect, we would love to hear from you.
