The successful candidate will support children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis, primarily in Key Stage 1. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support children with SEN across Reception, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) following the National Curriculum. Assist in creating a nurturing learning environment tailored to pupils' needs. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver targeted interventions. Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support development. Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils under your care. Adapt lesson plans and activities to support pupils with varying abilities and needs. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience working as a TA in a UK Primary School, particularly with SEN pupils. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, including EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance or equivalent. An understanding of safeguarding and Prevent Duty. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
