Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager Professional Online Learning
Salary: £42,000 - £58,500 and Competitive Sales Bonus
Location: Cambridge/Hybrid with travel

About the role:
You will support global organisations by developing new partnerships and online learning experiences to realise their learning and development needs at scale, by bringing the very best of Cambridge University faculty and research to practically apply to critical business issues focusing on climate and sustainability, AI & technology, health sciences, and multidisciplinary approaches to leadership & management, drawing on our market-leading portfolio of online short courses.
Core responsibilities are to:
* Generate new business and deliver annual COE sales and signings targets by:
o Creating a new outbound prospecting strategy identifying target geographies, industries, and companies.
o Developing a well-connected network of senior relationships in target industries and relevant organisations.
o Identifying learning needs, securing budget, and working collaboratively across the COE team to turn creative online learning solutions into winning bids.
* Manage the Client experience by:
o Building rapport, trust, and confidence with your customers to effect change in learning and development agendas in organisations.
o Ensuring that the voice of the customer remains present throughout the sales, development, and delivery process.
o Leading the Client relationship, working across the team to introduce the client to COE expert teams at appropriate points for an excellent customer experience.
About you:
You are results-driven, creative, and collaborative, thriving in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy. With exceptional communication, solutioning, negotiation, and presentation skills, you are a confident and able networker with a strong ability to form trusted relationships. Highly numerate with strong financial and commercial acumen, you are motivated to close deals by finding the best solution for your clients while sharing your deep knowledge and insight of the professional online learning market.
