WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Hotel Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and marketing department by coordinating day-to-day tasks, campaigns, and promotional efforts to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a creative mindset, and a passion for the hospitality industry.
THE DUTIES
Sales Support
1. Assist the sales team with client communications, follow-ups, and lead management.
2. Prepare and update sales proposals, contracts, and reports.
3. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities.
4. Coordinate and support client visits, familiarisation trips, and events.
Marketing Coordination
1. Help implement digital marketing strategies, including social media, email campaigns, and website content updates.
2. Assist in the creation of marketing materials (brochures, flyers, advertisements, etc.).
3. Coordinate photo and video shoots for promotional purposes.
4. Help monitor and track the success of marketing campaigns and report on key performance metrics.
Event Management
1. Assist in planning and executing hotel events, conferences, and special promotions.
2. Coordinate logistics for events, including room setups, catering, and guest services.
3. Manage RSVP lists, guest communications, and post-event follow-up.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
1. Utilise CRM tools to manage customer data and track interactions.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and local businesses to drive sales opportunities.
Market Research
1. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.
2. Stay updated on industry news and competitor activities to support sales and marketing strategies.
Administrative Support
1. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing travel arrangements for the sales team.
2. Handle inbound inquiries related to sales and marketing efforts and direct them to the appropriate team members.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
1. Have a true passion for hospitality and service.
2. Hotel Marketing & Sales experience.
3. An ability to use your initiative when faced with customer worries & concerns and create a workable solution.
4. A confident & dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels.
5. You’re great with computers and hopefully have knowledge of Opera.
6. Since we have guests from all over the world, speaking additional languages is an advantage.
7. Competent level of English spoken and written.
8. Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of handling multiple tasks at the same time.
9. Having a reliable method of transportation to the hotel is essential – we have no on-site parking.
