Davies Group are recruiting for a Claims Handler to join our Motor Claims team. As a Handler, you’ll be the first point of telephone contact for our customers. You’ll need to be a great communicator, dedicated to providing a professional and empathetic service and have experience in commercial motor claims. The Claims Handler will manage a caseload of Pre-Litigated Motor Claims including personal injury from inception to settlement.
What will your day look like:
1. Pro-actively manage a caseload of complex motor claims to conclusion
2. Continuously drive improvement in the service delivery to clients
3. Adhere to client specific protocols and best practice
4. Work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service
5. Support the firm's values and policies in a professional manner
6. Create accurate Claims Management System records
7. Identify own training needs and request appropriate training to meet performance targets
8. Act as a point of referral and mentor more junior members of the team, ensuring quality, service standards, and productivity levels are maintained to a high standard
9. Share innovative ideas within the claims handling teams
10. Offer a high level of client contact and continually look at work procedures to improve service delivery
11. Act as an administrator and main point of contact for allocated clients
12. Sign off client monthly reports and complete any client specified tasks as required
13. Attend client review meetings where appropriate
14. Undertake presentations to colleagues/clients at various levels in a motivational manner
15. Assist with both internal & external auditing
16. Undertake projects and deliver within agreed timescales
17. Create a supportive and respectful working environment
