To further our expansion, we are now recruiting for a Senior UX Designer to play a prominent role in our UX Team, producing designs for our award-winning platforms. Reporting directly to the UX Lead, you will provide senior-level design expertise, taking UX responsibility for a specific business area.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience in UX who wants to join a passionate team of creatives working with the financial services industry.
Key areas:
1. Design leadership: Lead the strategic planning of design initiatives, aligning efforts with broader business goals. Play a key role in shaping our overall design strategy and influencing decision-making at senior levels.
2. Creativity: Demonstrate expertise in creating seamless user experiences across mobile and web platforms.
3. Design Systems: Have extensive knowledge in creating and maintaining components in a Figma library, contributing to design guidelines and component libraries.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with executive and cross-functional teams, fostering team collaboration.
5. Decision making: Make informed, strategic decisions balancing user needs, business considerations, and creative goals.
6. Research: Design and oversee usability testing using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
7. Communication: Clearly communicate design ideas, rationales, and strategies to diverse audiences.
8. Advocacy: Promote UX within the wider business through blog posts, talks, and workshops beyond the product roadmap.
9. Leadership: Inspire and mentor team members, providing guidance and support.
About you:
* Creative and inquisitive by nature
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge & Skills:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a UX role
* Proficient in prototyping tools (Figma, XD, etc.)
* Deep understanding of user psychology
* Accessibility expertise
* Experience guiding junior team members
* Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
* Self-motivated and ambitious
