Job Description
Reporting directly in to the Plant Manager, the Quality Manager will:
* Lead and manage the site Quality team to ensure consistent high quality of products
* Develop and implement quality control systems throughout the manufacturing process
* Act as the key point of contact for all quality-related matters both internally and externally
* Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement
* Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and regulations
* Work closely with the Engineering & Manufacturing teams to implement best practices
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business
* Provide training and support to staff on quality control procedures
The Successful Applicant
The successful Quality Manager will possess a range of the following:
* Proven experience in a Quality Management role within FMCG industry
* Strong knowledge of quality control systems and regulatory standards
* Significant audit experience
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Strong knowledge and experience of CI methodology (Six Sigma qualification advantageous)
* Influential with excellent communication and presentation skills
