Job Summary:
As an HR Business Partner focused on Employee Relations, you will drive the execution of employee relations strategies and play a pivotal role in shaping our organisation's culture and employee experience. Your primary responsibility will be to manage, resolve, and prevent employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and positive workplace environment. With a focus on execution, you'll collaborate with business leaders to address employee concerns, develop solutions, and ensure successful implementation across all levels and functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an HR generalist with exposure to Employee Relations who is eager to grow into a specialised role.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
* Act as the first point of contact and support for senior leadership, providing trusted advice on employee relations.
* Oversee employee relations issues and investigations, supporting managers at all levels to navigate difficult situations effectively.
* Conduct employee exit interviews to understand themes, address issues, and inform recommendations to improve employee experience continuously.
* Facilitate the review and development of policies and procedures to reflect the needs of a growing and dynamic business, ensuring alignment with UK employment laws and regulations.
Performance Management:
* Manage salary review and appraisals, identifying employees' readiness for promotion and recognising their achievements.
* Help managers identify training and development opportunities for employees to grow their skill sets.
* Design and oversee compensation and benefits programmes, maintaining existing benefits and recommending new incentives to remain competitive in the industry.
HR Guidance:
* Provide guidance with process design and partner with the Global HR Director to offer strategic insight.
* Lead and execute best practices in benefits, compliance, employee relations, and compensation.
* Continuously engage and partner with senior leadership to understand needs and establish priorities for the global business.
* Strengthen the delivery and execution of HR initiatives, operations, and services that enhance the employee experience.
* Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and local regulations, mitigating HR compliance risks, and recommending best practices.
General HR Duties:
* Oversee recruitment needs, working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
* Support the collation of strategic information and people analytics.
* Position the company as a leading place to work through strategic partnerships with senior leaders.
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Extensive HR Experience: 5-10 years of Human Resources experience, with a strong focus on Employee Relations.
* UK Employment Law Expertise: In-depth knowledge and practical experience of UK employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
* Employee Relations: Proven track record in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and investigations.
* Performance Management: Experience in managing performance appraisal systems, salary reviews, and developing performance improvement plans.
* Policy Development: Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that comply with UK legislation and support organisational growth.
* Sector Experience: Experience in a culturally and geographically diverse organisation, ideally within the UK market.

* Sector-Specific Experience: Experience in a specific sector relevant to the organisation, such as technology, finance, or manufacturing.
