Key Responsibilities:
* Providing a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times
* Work with the team to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
* Observe and document children’s progress and development, ensuring their individual needs are met.
* Meeting the policies and procedures
* Support children with daily routines such as mealtimes, naps, and outdoor play.
* Planning activities that ensure each child is working towards the early learning outcomes and goals previously set.
* Work towards gaining your Early Years qualifications through supported study and practical experience.

* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
* Organisational skills
* A genuine passion for working with children and helping them to learn and develop.
* A positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable attitude.
* A willingness to learn and a commitment to completing your apprenticeship and qualification.
Desired qualifications:
No qualifications required; however, 4/C in maths and English is desired.
Qualifications after the completion of the apprenticeship:
* Apprenticeship Standard – Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours.
* Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years
* Level 1 or Level 2 Functional Skills in English
* Level 1 or Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths
* 20% Off the Job Training
* End Point Assessment – Professional Discussion underpinned by a portfolio and a Knowledge Test
Professional development:
* Progression to Nursery Manager/lead
* Residential Childcare (lvl 3)
* Healthcare Support (lvl 3)
* Children, young people & Families practitioner (lvl 4)
Things to consider:
* You will be DBS checked
* The length of the Apprenticeship is between 18 to 21 months
* Secured job after the completion of the Early Years Apprenticeship!
