About The Job
The Head of Operations at Integrum Power Engineering will oversee the general management of the operations support function, ensuring that all profit centres have the resources and support they need to succeed.
This senior-level role will report directly to the Directors and sit on the Business Management Team, playing a critical part in strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
The Head of Operations will be responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a collaborative environment, and supporting the growth and success of the business. Additionally, this role will involve senior-level client engagement to ensure client needs are met and relationships are strengthened.
What does the role entail?
* Operational Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies to support the overall business objectives of Integrum Power Engineering.
* Resource Management: Ensure all profit centres have the necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to achieve their goals.
* Process Improvement: Continuously improve operational processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.
* Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational targets are met and identify areas for improvement.
* Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including profit centre leaders, clients, contractors, and internal teams.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure business continuity and success.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure all operations meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
* Financial Oversight: Oversee the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and utilisation.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the operations support team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Senior-Level Client Engagement: Engage with senior-level clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and strengthen relationships.
* Client Escalations: Act as the most senior point of contact for client escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
* Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to the Directors and the Business Management Team, providing insights into operational performance and strategic initiatives.
What do you need to be considered?
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in renewables project management within the engineering and construction industry.
* Proven track record of successful project delivery and business development in the renewables sector.
* Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
* PMP or similar certification preferred.
